Oh Junk Angel Of The Wind Chimes tell me what makes you so bright?
...With your crystal lines and your silver bells. Oh how you sparkle through the night.
You started out as a vintage gold filligree cover....

..who was severed and recolored with silver
Add on some jewels, velvet ribbon and silverware charms...... and voila There you are.

BLAH! I am so corny.... My jeweler gave me a challenge.. if passed he'd give me some of the the silver plated items that crosses his precious metal desk that isn't so precious.....

I rejoiced with glee and made this piece for him. I have the rest of the set to play and create with.....  I used the blue ribbon and jewel (the Angel is holding) because he said it was his favorite color. The challege was makig it manly enough for him to want to use but still pretty. ;)

Did I achieve it?

Thanks Janis for the inspirational wind chimes.

byabpryor writes: Absolutely Sheri! I kept it so long after finding it in a large thrift shop. I didn't know what to do with it until this project came up. I tried to keep the integrity of the piece while still transforming it.

Cool that your mom had one! Posted: 7:37 am on September 21st
AtticusFinch writes: I recognize this item. It is a hair spray can cover from the 60s. My Mom had one in our bathroom when I was growing up. Her can of White Rain or Adorn was beautifully hidden underneath.

Great transformation to a delicate wind chime.
