Head on Over
September 9th, 2009 in member junkCan you tell I had a little time off over Labor Day? I live in the country and addresses are sometimes hard to see or not in sequential order so I wanted something that would be noticed. I saw a Garden headboard on Geo's site and it gave me the idea for one to mark my house. I was on the hunt. Found this one at a yard sale, went from solid white to green (leftover from a bathroom) with pink crackled on top, stenciled the address, rubbed the frilly design and 3 coats of poly later, attached it to my liitle fence. Now no one will pass me by!
Oh BTW ~ the fence was built from the same swing set wood I used for my wishing well (previous post)

lakelover69 ~ I used a crackle medium that has lasted me through many many pieces of furniture. I've never heard about using the glue. hmmmmmmm I may have to try it when I finally run out.
Lani - don't mind at all if ya call me Rusty. I feel a little rusty most mornings. LOL. Posted: 9:50 am on September 15th
