Beautiful glass lids and bowls...
August 16th, 2009 in member junkWhat do you do with glass lids with no partners??? You can almost always get glass lids free at yard sales and I have collected a
few...I love the beauty and uniqueness of each lid. So I made a backdrop to hold each lid and bowl...Lucky me hubby works in a
furniture factory and he get's scrap pieces of wood to use in projects. My vintage apron that I got at a thrift store for $1.00 was a much
wanted piece that "I had to have" :) The bowl holds loose change, keys or anything else that you have around that's small
enough to fit.

How, if I may ask, did you conjure this? Did a light bulb go off in your head?

this piece I was pretty proud of it, so when family/friends came over I would show them and the responses that I received ranged from "What the heck is that?" to "Oh,how different" you
never really knew what people thought. Anyways, doesn't really matter as long as the person that created it was happy with it.
I wish I had more time and room to make more junk projects but we turned my junking-room/craft-room back into what it was originally...a spare bedroom. I made another one that went vertically but it's not as nice and doesn't serve a purpose like this one does. Happy junking guys and keep the ideas coming...:) Posted: 10:18 am on August 17th
