Heavily distressed with an intense red finish.
That’s an Indian Head logo next to the 12.

The brass numbers are just glued onto the face.

The base is a wheel from an old Hose Reel Stand.
The tin is 10 in diameter.

The more distressed the BETTER!
Pieces like this seem to have a soul.

Clock kit.

Heavily distressed with an intense red finish.

This old tobacco tin which had been in a Connecticut barn for the last 50 years found a new use as a clock. Pulled from a crate and covered with dirt and dust it was originally filled with “Twelve of the Worlds Finest Smoking Tobaccos”.

MimiToria writes: Jim - You always have great projects, but personally this one tugs at me the most. I just love it, the thought that went into it and how you executed it. It is one all around winner! The patina is fabulous, the brass numbers a perfect addition and love the base. You rock Jim, and next year you have got to plan ahead for the Oronoco show. You would love it! You'd be a bit out numbered, but there are tons of men around too. Posted: 3:54 pm on August 17th

suewhitney writes: If I had to pick a favorite of yours, Jimbo...this would be it! Love the color, the patina, the re-purpose, and well...everything about it. Judging by this post you will want to take the gas pump front I just bought at Oronoco off my hands. Mitts off, buddy boy! Hahaha!

Take care,
