Clean up finds

If only my car were bigger. I would have gotten more drawers,

When the suburbs by our big metro area lake have clean-up days, I always find such great items to use for projects. This year, there were piles and piles of tiles left over from projets. This is my first load. Two loads worked okay since the trailer was with my husband out of town.

My favorite item is the 45 year old crib. I met the once-baby's wife.

I also make greeting cards and invitiations using old paper items. I found six boxes of conservation materials and maps.

JanieBV writes: Great finds! I'll be looking forward to you posting some of your creations soon. What types of ideas do you (or anyone) have with utilizing old maps? I have a bunch and I want to implement them into the design of my family room that we are re-doing. I'm sort of going with the "old war letters/pictures and maps look." Any ideas? audlyenuf writes: Wonderful finds! It looks like you have the ends of a bench there on the ground. If so do you have plans for them yet? I have some I haven't quite found a way to use yet, other than building another bench. Anxious to see your project completions. Posted: 10:39 pm on July 25th
