New life for an old kitchen cabinet door

A friend was remodeling her kitchen and knew I loved to make something out of nothing. A group of friends met one Saturday a month for some crafting and we had an artist come in to help us with technique and give us ideas. We used the old kitchen cabinet doors as our "canvas." I have mine hanging in my kitchen above my sink. We had some people over one night and a friend went on and on about how she loved the painting and asked how old I was when I painted it. When I told her 38, we both busted out laughing! I guess I didn't learn much technique from the artist!
