Is it REALLY a Watermelon?
July 4th, 2009 in member junkWe had an unsightly looking propane tank. It was painted silver and very much rusted and chippy. I wish I would have taken a before picture of just how ugly it was. I decided that a makeover was in need. My hubby scrapped it down and I painted it green with oil based rustoleum paint. After it dried, I painted the watermelon stripes by sponging on and blending white and green Patio Paint. I sealed it with an exterior varnish. The lady bug was painted the same way. I used an old wire clothes hanger for the antenas and toped with wooden beads.
