LONG LAKE OPEN AIR MARKET - SPONSORED BY THE LONG LAKE AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE The Long Lake Open Air Market will be held at Nelson Lakeside Park on Thursdays from June 18th through October 15th between the hours of 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm.  Visitors can expect wares from local vendors such as fresh fruit and produce, flowers, organic eggs, artwork and soaps.  Market customers will also be able to visit a vendor to place orders for all-natural meats like poultry and lamb at the event.  Live entertainment is anticipated to be a part of some market nights.  For more details, please visit the Long Lake Area Chamber of Commerce website at www.longlake-orono.org.  If you or someone you know is interested in having a booth, please e-mail event coordinator Jim Gulbranson at jgulbran@mchsi.com.

I'm so excited about this! The cities of Long Lake and Orono are hosting a city wide garage sale. YES...right in my backyard! Long Lake and Orono, Minnesota are located about 20 minutes west of downtown Minneapolis. This promises to be a hoot and a half so we decided to join in the fun. Our lease is up in August so it's time to clean house before the moving van arrives. Please make your way out to this event and join in the fun! The problem fo me, I suspect will be as stuff moves out of the JUNKMARKET warehouse I'll be re-loading it all with all of my new garae sale finds. Oh well, consider it fresh fodder for website projects!

suewannabeinkc writes: Thanks for the recommendation of places to go in Buffalo. We drove out there and went to all three. I got lucky with Sweet Salvage, even though it wasn't their weekend. I met one of the owners at Buffalo Nickel and she let me come over for a look. I wish I could find stuff like they had around here. Just to clarify and answer some questions. The warehouse sale is NOT of the glamorous variety, but a moving sale. There will be a lot of stuff that I use for projects like scrap wood, hardware, fabric, old records, etc. It will be served up warehouse moving sale style. There will also be vintage pieces available that have not been transformed. The cities of Long Lake and Orono are hosting a city wide garage sale so there will be plenty of shopping venues for garage sale enthusiasts. There may be a garage sale hosted at my home and at Kimberly's home the second week of July IF we can get 'er done in time...stay tuned for details. There are many great shopping venues in this area. The Buffalo Nickel, Annie's Attic, Sweet Salvage all located in Buffalo, MN. There are several good stores in downtown Hopkins, and Hunt & Gather in Minneapolis. hope this helps!

Its a good thing I live where I do because I would be there Thats what happenns when you get so much stuff. Now are you moving into someyhing bigger?Any how I know you will have a big sale. I thought about you this last weekend when I did the WALNUT,IOWA show. WoW what a show if you ever get a chance you have to make this show.Many of the ladies I visted with have many talents so I introduced them to the JUNMARKET and told them about the talent you have so you will have some more people on your site.
