My mom bought this at a yard sale.  I believe it was a spice rack, we turned it into a candle holder.  I'm bored with it now and wondering if anyone has any suggestions for something else?? I'd hate to get rid of it!!

judysjubilee writes: At Christmas you could put beautiful Christmas (ornaments) balls on it. It's shaped like a christmas tree. On the top one of you could find one that has a star on it. Then it would look like a tree topper. You could spray paint it red to match the decorations or gold or whatever. It would make a great Christmas centerpiece for the table. RustyDiva writes: I see these all the time in thrift stores without the glass. Sue - Love the idea of turning it upside down and hanging as a candalier inside or out. I may have to try it. Don't throw it away - you have endless possibilities. You could put it in a bathroom and role up wash rags or hand towels to tuck into the openings for guests to pluck out. For displays, I was thinking vintage croquet balls would look good. Would it support wine bottles (empty or full) upside down? Like a European bottle tree?
It would look cute in the garden supporting different colored bottles..... Posted: 12:12 pm on June 19th

Line the cups with moss, add floral foam, and grocery store flowers. Looks like mini pumpkins might fit. That would be darling for Halloween or other fall festivities. Appears like you might be able to flip it upside down, add chain to the legs, put the votive cups back in and hang from the ceiling... over a claw foot tub perhaps? Have fun!

Take care,

pmorse writes: Clean out the wax from your glass containers and make it a condiment 'tree'...ice cream sundae toppings, taco toppings, that kind of thing. If you have a baseball fan in your family, you could display autographed or special baseballs. Fruit stand for oranges and apples? Pots of herbs? Don't get rid of it! It's a neat piece.
