Extra Special Repurpose

The thrift store owner said this was used to toast bread...okay, that seems logical...
I decided my new picture display holder needed some height, so I pulled out my glass cake stand...
And, I married the two...
I think it looks adorable on my dresser.  The little girl is my dear grandma Dora. Story is when she was two yrs. old she swallowed a straight pin and her parents thought she would die from it, so they took her to a photographer and got THIS picture taken to remember her by!  The good news is grandma lived to be 91!  I still really miss her!

I found this rusty item in the thrift store one day, and the owner told me it was an old toaster...I decided it would be neat holding some old pictures of my grandma Dora!

JunkArchitect writes: It almost looks like it was designed to hold photos instead of toast. Very cool repurpose.
