Shadow boxes with antique keys and trinket charms.
Pieces of crocheted lace form the backdrop. The keys are light enough to be attached with pearl-head straight pins.
My Lucky Charms
These delightful metal charms are over 70 years old and had also been sitting in a box untouched for decades. After doing something with all the junk keys I finally decided to put these on display too. I couldn't think of any innovative way to display them so just decided to use the traditional shadow box. Rather than use pins, I used a little glue to attach them. I inserted a couple of Chinese fortunes just for fun.

Keys and Lace
In the old cabinet filled with junk keys I found a few keys that looked like antiques. I wanted to do something a little different with these. I had a piece of crocheted lace that was falling apart, so I used pieces of that for the background in the shadow box. I mounted the keys on top.
