My sweet 84 yr. old neighbor on the bench we built for her birthday.

The pieces we started with - bed foot board, bus seat and porch post.

This was my first garden bench to make and I had a lot of help from DH.  The foot board of my neighbor's bed broke and she was going to throw it away but being a good junker, I grabbed it and said I don't think so!  We created the garden bench for her for her birthday
