White cabinet

This shelf/ cabinet is the very first junk project I completed many years ago.  I spotted it in my neighbor's trash and drug it home.  It was just plain brown, vintage wood and had ugly dated doors on the top section.  Each shelf had a red and white gingham plastic tablecloth superglued to it.  (Try scraping off all that fuzzy stuff on the underside of one!)  Over the years what it holds has evolved however it remains white as I originally painted it.  I love it and can't imagine ever getting rid of it.

If only I would have thought to take a "before" picture back then...

I love rescuing stuff too - I actually was on my walk "early" this a.m., and someone had a nice, neat stack of baskets sitting with their trash - so, I quickly perused and grabbed two that will eventually be spray painted and be plant containers (or they'll "contain" something...) - when I got home, my husband wondered what the heck I was carrying...ya just never know what/when/where you'll find "stuff"!

Take care,
