I just finshed this piece made from a candlestick, thread spool arms, ratan ball head, vintage hat and tin pocket ready to plant a posey purse. She is 2 feet tall.
This one is made from a flower painted picket fence, moss hair, arm dowels, plywood star, rag strip ties and the scroll wings came from Home Depot. She is 3 feet tall.
I made several of these dolls using vintage tea towels and bits of lace with old pins. The friendship verse was traced and hand embroideried in backstitch. The hair is wool roving. Had some of these rusty tin wings from a previous project.
