Circle Silhouette from Wooden Spool and Goodwill Dress
April 16th, 2009 in member junkThis circular fabric silhouette was made with one side of an empty electrical wire wooden spool, a silhouette from felt, and a Goodwill Dress. I ironed on crafting interfacing to a piece of black felt. Then I outlined my friend's daughther's silhouette on the paper backing and cut it out. After peeling the paper backing off, the felt silhouette was ready to be ironed on to a piece large piece of fabric cut from the dress. I centered the silhouette, upholstered the fabric on to the circle and added a black piece of fabric on the back for a finished look. Made almost entirely from recycled materials, this made a special "green" gift for my very best friend.
