Mod Oval Ottoman from Goodwill Pleated Plaid Skirt
April 14th, 2009 in member junkThis oval ottoman (my favorite shape) was covered in a red fabric with a huge stain on the top. I purchased a big pleated plaid skirt at my fav Goodwill, removed the waistband and pressed on some interfacing. Using the old pattern, I cut out the pieces, sewed the side piece carefully on the top oval piece, meticulously matching the plaid, and upholstered the ottoman. I stained some sleek, modern legs and there you have it!
