My good friend Cheap Vegetable Gardener posted hoe to make these "topsy Turvey" upside down tomato planters. I had to do some too!- Made out of pop bottles and duct tape- just the right price for cheap gardeners. Of course I had to use colored duct tape for a tad bit of festive in the veggie garden

I've had to patch my garden boots with it and they are blue and green plaid. I suppose a soda bottle isn't going to mind if I use it on one of them to make a planter, LOL! Love the idea! RobJ98167 writes: Yes the duct tape is to cover the plastic so the roots wont burn- if you look T cvg'S post- he used regular duct tape and had his daughters decorate. I used colored tape for the decoration and the protection Posted: 5:40 pm on April 13th
Junkin101 writes: Does the duct tape serve a purpose or is it just used to decorate the bottle? I just recently heard of upside-down gardening and thought I might give it a try this year. I still have 2 of those old clothes line T-poles on the property. Thought I would hang a few from there. Thanks for sharing. Posted: 1:17 pm on April 13th
