Project Leftovers Put to Good Use
March 4th, 2009 in member junkAfter using contact paper on my ugly table to make it fit in with my decor, I realized I had a HUGE roll of white contact paper left over. Since I feel strongly about using EVERYTHING I am compelled to keep, I figured I could do something with the remnants.
I took the last bit of Contact paper and started cutting out pieces into Bamboo shapes. Since I was well and truly involved in a "House" marathon, it didn't seem like too much work.
Once it was all done, I simply stuck the pieces on my wall to form a little Bamboo grove. It prettied up the space, cost pretty much nothing, and is removable (which is important when you're a renter).

A very artful application! It's great that the paper didn't languish in a drawer or get thrown away, too!
