Basket Art Work

Don't throw those old laundry baskets away! This is the bottom of one that fell apart and it's shape reminded me of the moon. I stained and modge podged it. Added some aged cheese cloth. A polymer clay sun design , textured ribbon and icons and ...Voila... a very unique piece of art.

I am in the process of recycling another basket so I will post the results when I am done.

This is a lot of fun...

When I was reading your post I got to the part about adding aged cheese, went WHAT? and then saw CLOTH LOL!! Whew, I have heard the moon is made of cheese but thought that would be taking things a bit too far. I really like all the extra added ribbons and things.
