First of all, I have not done these - though I am going to do the butterflies - or flutterbyes as by niece says.

These images are from my idea files. I knew I had images of record ideas. I just had to find them and share. I am going to do the butterflies as a mobile to go above my dining table.

I believe we all get ideas from watching what goes on around us. We take a piece of this, stretch an idea here or there and build on something we have seen. I wish I had kept the info about who created these pieces of art from record albums, but I did not.

So, I hope these will spur creativity. I wanted to share and hope it was alright that is wasn't exactly something that came from my workshop.

I absolutely LOVE this site and believe it gives people like all of us a place to go and dream. I love that!

LastChance writes: Great idea for the 45's, but I have a gazillion 78LP albums. My mom used to play Jimmy Dorsey and Classical music back when we had a cafe/tavern in the 60's-70's. The older customers really appreciated the older music. I hate the idea of the albums going to waste. I guess now I have found lots of ways to recycle them!!
